I watched the keynote but I don't see the significance of gyro I mean what r we really Going to use it with? Also is the gps in iPhone 4 better like turn by turn like android? In gyroscope does it make gps more precise? Thanks fobthw advice

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)

No the iPhone won't have turn by turn gps built in.

the turn by turn GPS is all software, the iPhones (minus 2g) all have a capable gps unit for this, but since the software Apple supplies doesn't offer this (more so google supplies), then you can get it by downloading it on the app store.

The GPS has nothing to do with the gyroscope. It is for use in conjunction with the accelerometer to get 6-axis motion control for better motion controlled games.

Yeah the Jenga demo looked fun but if you have to stand up and spin round in circles to play it then it would be quite odd.

I for one am a gamer and am extremely excited for the gyroscope.

im kind of new to the iphone because i got my 3gs on june 6 to stay with unlimited but return exchange for the new 32 gig iphone 4 so i havent really used my iphone for gaming. any good gaming apps you can recommend?:)

HookChamp
DoodleJump
Plants Vs Zombies
Peggle
Zen Bound

Just to name a few...
