H265 vs H264 stuggling

I made a 2 minute video today on the 6S and copied the file to a USB pen

Whilst my 4K sony TV is super smooth with netflicks & youtube 4K content the video made on the iPhone drops frames and doesn't look smooth at all

Is this the codec, USB or something else ?

Does your Sony TV play .mov file? Maybe it's struggling be cause TV doesn't support this file format. I had no problem playing on my Samsung 4K tv.

The file format used is .m4v it would appear but yes my TV seems to play it, just drops frames, really weird

Virtually all 4K content is 30fps or less.

Did you convert the file? .mov is the original format from iPhone recording.
