Hey guys, does anyone know how one would be able to hack the SATA III driver to negotiate at SATA II speeds only? While I love my new SSD, the beach balling is happening frequently enough to make it a lot worse than just having the 7200RPM HD. Until Apple comes out with an EFI fix or an update, I think it would be easier if the SSD can just communicate via SATA II speeds instead of SATA III - seeing how the beach balls seem to not happen when running at a slower speed.
This stuff is over my head, but it would be awesome if someone can develop a script that can make it happen.
