Hack to complete action when there is Service (like old phones)

This might be a throw back to old Motorola phones... but is there a hack or a JB tweak that will complete an action when there is service? For example, when you send a text when there is no service, it just goes unsent until you try again... Is there a tweak that will complete this action once it detects the phone has service again?

Old motorolas used to do this with text messaging...

Any thoughts??
