Hacking Aperture

Long story short I am waiting on some back ordered ram for my iMac G5 (currently have 512mb) Aperture requires 1 gig; I want to use it until I get the new ram, I figured out how to hack the installer to not check system ram. However, the program also does a system check when Aperture opens. Any way around this or do I have to wait till my ram gets here?

Unlike the installer, the app itself is a binary executable and isn't easily modified. You're probably going to have to wait.
