Hacking the 6+ with 2 GB ram in ipad air 2

for all the people who wanted 2GB ram is it even theoritcally possible to take the A8 soc from the rumored new ipad and solder it into the 6+? removing the A 8 there of course. i know there are tons of things to consider including firmware, software etc. and its a complete waste of $. just curious.

the google modular phone looks like its at least a couple yrs away
