I have 2 laptops that i can use for running hackintosh. One is a Asus Eee PC 1000HD 10'. The other is a Hp Pavillion dv9700. Is it even possible to run hackintosh on these systems? If so please help. I tried once and messed my boot data and had to restore.

It says the 1000H and 1000HE, but does that mean that the 1000HD isn't compatable

I just realized it doesnt have a dvd drive. Can i do it without one?

It depends what's different between them. According to Wikipedia, the 1000HD has a Celeron processor, while the 1000H and 1000HE have Atom processors. A couple posts on this thread imply that it works, but it is apparently difficult.

I think it is possible in general to install it from a USB drive but I've never done it and I don't know if it works on an EeePC.

The good folks over at the insanelymac.com forums have a lot of experience with this and would probably be your best resource
