Hacktivating iPhone

So I really want my iPhone on pre paid and have dicided I will hactivate my iPhone. It is an Original Apple iPhone 8 GB, and I would like to know how to get it on at&t go phone pay as you go. Will I need to unlock it? Or can I just hactivate it? I don't want to jailbraek it or get the cydia or installer app. Just want to use it on the pay as you go go phone from at&t. I have never messed around with my iPhone so could someone help me out? Also a very detailed guide would be appreciated. Thank you so much for your time and knowledge.

You will have to jailbreak it to "activate" it without going through iTunes.
You can jailbreak without installing Cydia or installer.
You have the option to simply "activate" it.
Then just drop in your AT&T go-phone sim card.
