Hactivate iPhone 3GS on 3.1.3?

Curious, iPhone 3GS, running on 3.1.3, new bootrom, but currently not activated. Is it possible to "hactivate" it? Don't have a sim from the carrier needed to do usual activation.

No. The only 3.1.3 jailbreak (Spirit) is a userland jailbreak incapable of hacktivating.

Comex' new jailbreak is also a userland jailbreak, yes. Geohot says he has a bootrom exploit, and I understand someone else has independently discovered it. But I've heard of no plans to release anything.
