What a mare of an experience. El Cap went nuts on my machine and also resulted in an iCloud lock out for 12 hours plus. Alongside a 4 hour tech call with Apple, who were at a loss as to why, what, when and where.
Whether the account needed a flush overnight and/or whether someone somewhere hit the right button, things have now, thankfully, settled down. Although, I keep getting asked to input my Apple ID password, which is similar to yesterday's lock out scenario.
However, my question relates to malware and/or trojans. Just to be on the safe side, as my machine was acting flunky after the incident; what if any scans or software do you guys recommend to scan with to make sure I haven't picked anything up.
Mucho grateful for any advice...
Thanks.
