P PatrickF macrumors 6502 Feb 16, 2006 335 0 Blighty Oct 8, 2006 #2 That seems to be quite common. A lot of techs are too lazy to code the serial number onto the new board. Just makes it harder for you to find your serial number next time you need it - that's all.
