After taking it home and unboxing it, I noticed that the click wheel seemed a little strange. When I would press the menu button, it felt like it would do a double click. What was happening is the wheel wasnt quite centered and it was catching the top edge of the wheel on the case and then clicking the switch underneathe.
So the next day I tooke it back to the Apple store to exchange it. Simple enough right? Not so. I first walked in and checked the demo units, and sure enough, they were fine. So I ask a sales clerk, and she takes it back to the back room. A few minuts later she returns and hands it back to me. She tells me the technician told her that some iPods are just assembled that way, and there was nothing they could do. So after telling her how disappointed I was with my first two Apple Products ever, I told her to just give me a refund, and I would go buy again somewhere else. So she tells me, well I will make an exception this one time, and exchange it for you.
I was expecting two things: A quality product, and customer service that exceeds every other company. I'm just glad it didnt break on the 15th day.
