I have a hairline crack in my early 2008 White Macbook. It's still under warranty for another week. I'm thinking of taking it to the Apple store to see if they will fix it. It's right above the screen in the top right corner. Does anyone know if Apple will fix it?

I have heard of apple fixing them even if they are out of warranty, they have problems with hairline cracks

Depends on where the crack is.

Even though mine was one of those supposedly covered the genius told me that it was just "stress" and not covered under repair. Then again, that particular genius has denied me a repair on a very obvious bulging of the power adapter so it may just be him.
