Hairline scratch on iPhone 4 but when the screen is on

it looks like that micro tiny line has a rainbow color to it
its super small but I can tell it has rainbow colors
is that because that tiny area is damaged pixels ?

No, it's because the uneven surface of the glass is refracting the light.
