I found this auction last night looking for a verizon phone... I'm not sure whether this guy is joking or needs hooked on phonics :p

Yeah, I hate people that scam others, but this auction CLEARLY states that you are bidding on the box. Yes, it catches stupid people off guard (and is meant to do so)...but the stupid person that wins the auction will learn a freakin' lesson.

Yes, it's a scam. But this type does not blatantly lie and trick, it just teaches a lesson to someone who needs one.

And in no way was that a scam. It's so incredibly clear that he's selling a box that you can only blame the buyer. The seller didn't try to hide the fact that he sold a box.
 
sucks for whoever won that touch box, lol although a paypal dispute will most likely get their money back and screw the seller
 
I like how in the cell phone auction his english sucks but in the boxes auction wow. His english is really great. :confused: and ya, The iPod box sold for $174

I feel bad for the person who bought an iPod touch box for $175!
I read something a while ago about someone who bought a photo of a rolex on ebay for a massive amount of money, thinking it was the real thing

EDIT: Actually, I don't feel sorry for them :p

Well, I think (but can't be sure) you are looking at the head, and I think (but again can't be sure) you are looking at a cat, a very miserable fat cat....
 
Back when the PSP first came out, a box alone went for FULL RETAIL PRICE. This despite the fact that the item listing was beyond obvious that it was the box and users manual ONLY. Like, size 42 font obvious.:p

Some idiot bought a picture of a Moto Razor on for 300 or some number a while back, it went to small claims court and the sale was upheld. People just don't read :p
