Hi

I have a late 2007 2.2ghz MBP. It seems that the video cable is failing, as I often open it up from sleep and get only half an image on the screen. Image capture does not capture this, so I know that it is hardware related. It does not happen on my external monitor.

It is getting more frequent, and has been going on for about a month, The warranty expired in late September (lucky me!)

Has anyone found a way to resolve this issue? I know how to take my computer apart if I need to, but I would rather not.

Thanks

The problem affects about 3/4 of the screen. As soon as I move it, it goes away.
