iPhone 16 Pro Halfway through iphone cycle, are newly purchased 16 pros still having touchscreen issues WITH screen protector?

Halfway through the iphone cycle... anyone recently got a new iphone 16 pro have any touchscreen issues WITH screen protectors? i know early on in the cycle it was kind of wide spread at least on reddit and forums, i am wondering if it's still an issue with new ones purchased recently, or should i wait for 17 pro and avoid the touchscreen issues?

I think it’s mostly an issue with 16PM. Much less so with regular Pro.

I had my iPhone 16 pro max since October and I have a screen protector on and have zero issues with touch screen. However, I do notice that certain screen protector I have tried in the past did. Currently using the cheap ESR one and have no issues. I had issue with the zagg bran (likely due to the thickness of the protector).

Zero issues for me. I've had my 16 Pro since release day and installed a Spigen GlasTR screen protector on it as soon as it came out of the box.

My wife and I bought 16 pro's yesterday at the apple store and had them install the Belkin screen protectors and we haven't had any problems (and we have been on our phones almost non stop since we got them yesterday).

I've had a screen protector on my 16 Pro since about 5 mins after I bought it. No touch issues.

Have not used any screen protectors, ever! Never damaged an iPhone screen in over 7 years.
