HAlo 3 - two players on one live account?

Is it possible to get two players playing online on Halo 3 using one live account? i.e. the main account plus a guest as in Halo 2 and the like?

If so can anyone guide me through this? Ta.

Yea it's how me and my brother play. I don't know the exact setup off by heart but it's easy enough to do without guides. Only thing is you'll be given a silly name like "[Live gold account name]-1" and I don't think you get upgrades or whatever they are.

Good thing is it tops out at 4 players too

When you sign in, you have to select guest. Also you can only play social playlists. But social slayer is still fun.
