So I possibly can redesign my schools ugly site. Here is what I got so far http://ichstest.tk/ . I know the font looks horrible on windows, I will be looking into another kind that windows does not butcher up with their [bad word here] anti aliasing. Any suggestions are welcome!

There's no reason to create a headache for yourself by using actual text for the school name (and randomly positioned tag line). Use a graphic. It'll be more reliable, easier and you have all the freedoms that Photoshop affords you.

And please lose the frames. You'll basically make it impossible to link to any page. This, for example, will render your social network linking moot. What happens if the school wants to tweet about a page on the site? They can't link to it.

There's a whole host of reasons not to use frames.
