Hello, a few days ago I got liquid hand soap on my iPhone 4 and now it won't turn on. I put it in rice for the time being but I was just wondering if there was anything I could do about it? I really need this phone, as I cant afford a new phone. Or is there something in the soap that could potentially destroy my iPhone? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I am not sure how safe this is but since the phone isn't turning on it may be worth a try. My sister dropped her old Razr in the toilet and we took it apart and took Qtips with rubbing alcohol on them and wiped most of the phone down. Not sure how this will work on the iPhone, but the Razr kept working for another year.
