Hi,
i recently bought a graphire 4 4x5 tablet to do a pile of photo restorations.
i must say that i've caught on quite quick on how to use it and have programmed the few buttons for hotkeys which is really handy.
BUT, speaking of hand, my hand is sore! i've done quite a few (40'ish) photos in 2 days which is alot considering some of them are pretty marked up.
i've done my best to ensure my hand placement is proper and consistent. the tablet is on a keyboard tray in front of me so i don't seem to be stretching far.
i do notice that my hand moves alot in small directions. could this be due to the size of the tablet? would a larger tablet mean i don't have to move my hand in such close quarters? i wonder if larger movements to other areas of the photo/screen would help?
any thoughts? I also do find the pen a bit hard so i'm wondering if the intuos line of pens are a bit softer?
i can return this tablet with 30 days, no questions asked so i have no problems doing that and buying another one.
cheers,
keebler
