Hand Writing Recognition App?

Does one exist for the iPad? Where you can write on screen and it would then turn what you wrote into typed text.

I haven't used it so can't give you a personal opinion on it, but I know that WritePad claims to do what you are looking for.

I thought that this would be something that came standard since a lot of touch screen phones have this built in (the LG Dare for example). I'll check out your recommendation, hopefully more options will become available.
