Handbrake alternative with bulk "add file" option???

I'm currently using Handbrake to transcode AVIs to a iPhone/AppleTV format, however having to manually add each AVI one-by-one is driving me crazy.

Anything alternative software (commercial or free) that will let me do the same thing with the ability to add multiple files at the same time?

MPEG Streamclip can do that via its Batch List (CMD+B), but you have to set the settings manually, as it doesn't offer presets.
