handbrake and ipod

I ripped a dvd with handbrake and checked the ipod compatibility box( i think thats what its called). All worked well ripping it and adding to itunes library in the movie section. But it would not sync with an 80gb ipod and I could not add it manually. Any ideas?

Google iSquint for the file you've converted but won't go onto your iPod and give us a bit more to work with - what settings did you use in Handbrake etc?
