I'm converting a vid, and my thighs started burning like the sun. my cpu is @ 180 degrees and my heat sink is @ 151 according to iStatpro.

Please tell me this is normal.

And can i sue apple for burning the hairs off my thighs?

thanks.

The highest mine ever goes is 75 C. But seeing how you are using Handbrake, which is CPU heavy, I wouldn't worry too much about it - your computer is gonna get hot.

yeah, like the other poster said it's pretty normal. When I run mine I turn up my SMC fan control to 5000 rpm and it sits around 65 degrees.

Completely normal. Don't worry about it.
