Handbrake crashing & iSquint not working

I'm having a lot of trouble ripping DVDs.

Handbrake either stops for no reason or crashes.

and iSquint just comes up with the following error, whether I try to convert direct from DVD or files on HD.

Can anyone help.

My system: PowerBook G4 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM, OS X 10.3.9
