I have a DVD I don't own and want to rip it to make money off those jerks, just kidding, but I do have an MPEG4 file of a movie I used HandBrake to get and I'm trying to bring it into Final Cut Pro to practice editing but it keeps saying error and access denied. It is 866 MB, 112 minutes long, and 615 X 474. What can I do to get things moving along? Please some one smart help me out. Thanks Mark

Wrong Approach

You need to work in DV and perhaps a few other select file formats that FC works with. I recommend using a program that takes a DVD and turns it into DV format. YOu can find it on, search something like DVDxDV or DV. I forgot, I used it along time ago. WOrking in MPEG4 is a compressed format that most video editors d macupdate o not prefer. MPEG4 is a final format to distribute and view your work.
