an older guy at work wanted one of his DVDs to watch on his iPod 5G for a trip. so i brought his dvd home and used HandBrake. the next morning i took my mbp to work but the movie wouldnt go onto his iPod. so today im trting it again and i have noticed iPod 5G Support box, i guess i should checked that the first time? why only the 5G though? and what should i set the constant quality to? default is 50 %

I'm not sure, but normally I use visualhub to encode for iPod Touch... Are you using the latest handbrake (0.9.3) ?

5G just means that it supports from 5G upwards, so any iPod from then on. i would recommend using that setting if you dont know much about video converts etc.
