I have Handbrake and a program known as Handbrake Batch.

I want to take file.avi or file.mov and convert it to something iTunes compatible (for use on iPad or iPhone) but I don't want to change the resolution.

If it is 640 x 480 I want to KEEP it like that. Or if it is some weird thing like 700 x 400 I don't want it to change.

I just want to change it from avi to m4v or something keeping the same aspect ratio.

How do I do that?!

By default handbrake does not change the resolution if you select either Normal or High profiles. Just add your file, select your preset (choose normal or high profile) and go.

If you want to use say the Apple TV preset then those will change the rez.

Awesome! I'll try one of those two settings. I had been using Apple TV 3 and it screwed some videos up.
