I've been using handbrake over the last few days to rip some movies to put onto my :apple:Ipod Touch 2G but when they are done ripping I add them to my itunes library but I can't sync them to my Ipod?

I've tried two of the options so far and no luck. I ripped Die Hard using the Iphone/Ipod Touch option and Transformers using the Normal option and no luck. Itunes just says the format is not compatible so the movie wasn't synced.

Any solutions?

You need to make sure to use the right preset that is compatible with the device you are using. The catch is that there can be subtle differences between devices, and iTunes will choke on them. This includes things like bitrate.

I'd try the iPod Touch / iPhone preset again, without messing with it, just to see if it works or not. Also make sure the file extension is .m4v.

I just tried the standard Ipod preset and that worked? but its lower quality and thats not what i want so im about to try the Universal apple preset.
