Handbrake is doing weird stuff when I try to compress video files since I updated OSX to 10.9.3.
I can take a 15mb MP4 or M4A file and try compressing it with Handbrake and within a few seconds it already says its done compressing even though playback of the video is now only 10 seconds long for a video that should be 1 minute and 20 seconds long. Regardless of what file I choose to compress, Handbrake keeps saying "File already exists. Do you want to overwrite XXXX.mp4?" I have cleared the Queue, closed and restarted Handbrake, renamed the file and even changed the extension from MP4 to M4V and I still have the same problem.
This is a bummer because I really need to compress a ton of video files.
Any ideas for how I can get Handbrake working again? And if not, can anyone recommend a reliable video compression app, and preferably free?
Thanks
