Handbrake only encodes 1sec of video

and then says its done. I've got an hour long .m2t file @1920x1080 and want to reduce the resolution to something like 848x480. When I change the picture settings it only encodes for 1 sec and then quits and I can't figure out whey. Was wondering if anyone might have some tips.

I tried converting in toast titanium 9.0.2 and reducing the res but it outputed 1080.

try using visual hub

Try MPEG Streamclip...

From what I see/read, Visual Hub has been discontinued, though it probably is still available.
