Handbreak and CPU usage

Hi
Just started using handbrake and the fan is going crazy. Checked the CPU usage and it's 500%!!!
I'm worried this might hurt my Mac... Anyone got any advice for me?

Mac OS X 10.7.5. 2.2 GHz

It won't hurt your machine. It is working as designed. When using Handbreak, those high numbers can be expected.
