Handoff from Mac to iPhone

Hello
I have the new macbook 2015 with osx El capitan and iPhone 6+ with ios 8.4
Handoff from iPhone to the Mac works perfectly
But!!!
handoff from mac to iPhone only works when i press the wifi icon in the status bar

any advice?
