Handoff Issue with Browser

I'm assuming that the issue here is that my default browser is chrome.

When using Safari in iOS 8, the handoff icon appears on my rMBP, but it's the chrome symbol. When I click it, the webpage does not open in Chrome.

Anyone know of a workaround to open handoff pages in Safari while keeping Chrome as my default?
