Handoff on ipad 2?

how to get handoff on ipad 2? i am trying from iphone to ipad but didnt working, updating ios 8 on ipad 3 also, will ee if it work in ipad 3 or not.

iPad 2 and 3 are not getting handoff. They are getting SMS and phonecall relay, but nothing else.

SMS is not being turned on by Apple till October Then it should work.

I must admit I'm one of those people but the opposite way round.
My phone was on silent and someone was ringing me whilst I was using my iPad....Que me nearly falling off my chair when I realised I had call relay on my iPad 2

Still upgrading my iPad when the new one is announced lol.
