Handoff on late 2010 MacBook Air: It Works!

Hello everyone,

I'm a german engineer who wanted to buy a used mac book air on ebay.
So I had luck and bought me an Apple mac book air late 2010 with a wifi problem.

so the previous owner wanted to replace the battery and destroyed the airport module and the antenna cables...

so I replaced the antenna ... lot of work... and I thought, well whats the difference between handoff working and handoff not working and what I found out it's all about the Airport Module...

so I bought an 2012 Airport Module and put it in my 2010 mac book air...



and whats the end of story? I HAVE HANDOFF AND AIRDROP working :)

have fun with it, it takes about 10 Minutes to change the Airport module
