Haven't been able to assess where it is either, though it appears the White model still has the black plastic on the back for the antenna rather than White which is a bit of an aesthetic dissapointmet.
The Verizon iPhone doesn't have a SIM card slot I believe so I doubt the iPad 2 on Verizon will either. Maybe in the US, the AT&T one also lacks interchangeable cards?

Of course the Verizon iPad won't have a sim card slot. The technology that Verizon uses, CDMA, doesn't use sim cards.
