Hi,

I am handwriting and taking notes through this on my iPad. It should be possible to do the same thing on the Macs pad. Does anybody know of an application?

Thanks.

I believe you have to look under accessibility in System Preferences. I don't know any application, but I think it's built in the operating system.

i was in the process of telling you why this isn't possible at all and then i googled it... looks like i have no idea what i am talking about:p

I have no idea if this product is anygood, but a simple google search returned it:

http://tenonedesign.com/inklet.php

“Ink” is the program that Apple built into the Mac OS; it loads when you install a drawing tablet driver. “Inklet,” linked to above by DisplacedMic, uses “Ink” for handwriting recognition. I don’t know how well “Inklet” works, or how happy you’ll be with using the trackpad for a drawing tablet, but it may be worth a free try; if you’re not happy you could always get a drawing tablet.
