Handy Light question!

So, i bought handy light on a whim after i saw it posted... but i have a few questions about it..?

1) I noticed that the app stays on (ie: lit up), which could sig. drain battery life, can i lock the phone, so the screen is off, but the app still tethering???

2) Does it not background? will there be an update for backgrounding??

im new to iphones and this stuff. Thanks!

1. The instruction from the main article states that the App has to remain ON to function, which yes it will drain your battery (if your tethering to your laptop, using the USB cable, just plug in your phone to keep it charged)

2. The App has been pulled from the App Store by Apple because the developer used unapproved API's, so No an update will not be coming anytime soon (ever).
