Hang and Spinning Wheel

Today my ipad was hanging and also had the spinning wheel. Once when I opened the twitter App the screen froze there for about 15 sec. Then everything resumed normal. The second time was when I Unlock it, instead of loading my home page it got dark and showed the spinning wheel, also stayed there for about 15 sec.

Everything seems to be working fine as of now. But i am wondering if anyone has experienced this before? Is it ios5 that's buggy or do you think it's a hardware thing?

I'd keep an eye on it, take it back if the problems persist...Maybe a full re-set and resort would fix the issue. Hard to tell exactly what might be causing this, but it could be an app you have recently installed?
