I restored my 2016 12” macbook from my time machine backup. I deselected to copy my photos, music, applications because its a 256gb model and my back up was from my 512gb air.
i am unable to login on the macbook after the restore has completed- it accepts the password but then just stays with the icon spinning round.
ive checked disk utility and my data has gone onto the ssd as there’s over 200gb used. Any ideas as to why its just hanging?!
