Hanging & Scramble With Friends issue on iPhone 4s

This may sound silly, but I cannot get my facebook name to show up on alerts to others when I am playing these games on my iPhone. Every time I go to start a game or play some one back in either of these games, my "username" is alerted to them, as theirs is to me, and not my Facebook first name, last initial. Anyone know how to fix this? Yes, I am logged in through facebook and am playing facebook friends. Well aware the username is suppose to show up when you don't play facebook friends. Deleted and re-installed these apps a million times. I can't figure out the problem!
