Hi,
I have a Hanvon SenTip Display Tablet. For those that have not heard of them it's kind of a cheaper alternative to the Cintiq. It's a Chinese firm and the support is as I should have realized = non existent.
I am running it on my Mavericks 27 inch imac and another 19 inch HP monitor, set so the active region is all three monitors (the SenTip screen is classed as the third) (presumably this is quite similar to the Cintiq's set-up?). Everything seems to work ok but every now and then it gets glitchy and the crossover from the second monitor to the third jumps from about 2 inches away from the edge of the screen when it should just be a smooth transition when the mouse cursor moves from one screen to the next. I could handle it when it only happened when I moved the cursor between two monitors but today it has started happening across all three monitors. So I've got about a two inch area on the left hand side of all monitors where the cursor jumps straight onto the next monitor screen instead of going all the way to the edge then crossing over. This is an issue for things like PS palettes residing in these areas which means I can't click on them unless I move them into the safe zone approx 2 inches towards the centre of the monitors screen. It's as if I need to shift the screen mapped regions over to the right a couple of inches. I know I should have payed the extra and gone for the Cintiq but that is not helping at the moment. Is there anyway I can adjust things. The drivers for the product are a bit of a joke (not updated since 2012) and tend to crash and require re-installation with too much fiddling. I was wondering if there may be any generic tablet drivers that could help things? I've even considered perhaps installing the Wacom drivers to see if by some godly stroke of luck they might be able to control and or fix the region mapping issues. I know it's a long shot but at the moment the thing is unusable and failing a solution being found it will be getting trashed and I'll pick up a Intuos Pro or something.
Any ideas how I might be able to sort this thing out. As I said it has been working fine but seems to have these moments. I've reinstalled the drivers loads of times and switched it off for 10 mins, restarted the mac etc but still the problem remains.
Thanks for any help.
