Mine is 9 and I'm secretly hoping she comes to appreciate some of the greats I keep in rotation, learning that there is so much talent out there beyond the flash-in-the-pan pop kids most often latch onto. I'd probably introduce her to Dire Straits and hold the GNR, nonetheless.

Been a fan since the beginning of Dire Straits way back in the late 70's. His guitar playing still amazes me. Happy Birthday Mark!! (damn, I'm not that much younger than him!)
