Can't believe I upgraded from the 3GS this day last year. It amazes me how I've had this phone since launch day and it's still amazing. :apple:

This phonebis still working great. Battery life and all. I don't see myself upgrading, nbut who knows what apple will come up with next :D

One year ago was the easiest launch day I ever had. Had an appointment at 9:30a and left the Best Buy store by 10a after some paperwork. Pre-order is such a time saver. Then I was picking up a black bumper at the newly opened Apple Store in Cerritos. Only had to wait 5 minutes in line and got a free t-shirt. After one year, the phone still rocks! Never dropped and everything is in perfect condition. Even the case! I hope when I get a PS Vita, it will be as stress-free as my iPhone 4 launch day and not as brutal as a Black Friday or PS3 launch. But it should be during the Holiday season, so it should be hectic. Anyway, Happy Birthday to iPhone 4! My favorite gadget and Apple product I have ever bought.

I set up an iCal alert for it this morning.

Mostly to annoy my wife when her phone dinged at 7 AM and she checked it just to see "Happy Birthday, iPhone 4!"

These are the moments you live for in a marriage. :D

I got mine on launch day from the Apple store in Regent St (London).

Best phone I've ever owned and I can't see myself ever changing from one now.

One year ago, I felt like a little kid again during Christmas. I remember how amazing it felt holding the phone in my hands for the first time. Nerdgasm! Rock solid in its birthday suit. It felt like holding jewelry or a piece of glass art. It felt like holding one of those $1000+ luxury phones that made me paranoid showing it off.

Anytime Apple releases a new product, the anticipation and excitement builds. The vibe is positive and the Apple Store would offer free Chick-fil-A and Smart Water. Good times. Eventually, I had to go with a case because of the uncomfortable edges and how slippery it can be. But everytime I visit the Apple Store, I get reminded how beautiful my phone really looks like without a case.

I wish I could celebrate by replacing it like in previous years. I got my iPhone before anybody else I know because I was the only one who got in on the Pre-Order, remember that PITA? The phone was amazing at the time, the screen blew me away that first day when held next to my 3GS. To this day the phone still holds a candle to everything on the market, but.. just barely. Still the sexiest on the market though. ;)

Just about 1 year to the minute since that final signature for me to get my iPhone 4.

After standing in line for nearly 6 hours.

After having a reservation as well.

Will NEVER stand in line like that again.

6 hours WITH a reservation?

Wow, so will you always purchase it online to be delivered instead from now on?
