I read the article in full, and don't really see how it's any different than any other studio making decisions about which projects to produce for whatever reason.

Right. I don't understand why people are so up in arms about it. I'm sure the heads of HBO, or CBS, or HGTV make decisions like that all the time.

Yeah exactly. Projects get dropped from all studios. Do we always know (or even need to know) why? What the article states about Tim Cook's reasons are hardly unique and may not even represent the whole story.
