To any chinese macrumors members,

Have a happy chinese new year.
I'm wondering if there is any chinese members around here. :apple:

"Gong shi gong shi, shing nien qwai luh!" :D Yeah, sorry, that's not official 'pinyin' or whatever. But that's the best I can do to spell it phonetically. Hee. And BTW, other cultures also celebrate the Lunar New Year. Not just Chinese.

Gong hee fot choi, it's a lunar leap year. Although I don't really understand the lunar calendar.

Keep tryin' Abstract. I'm younger than you and single. I get dibs. ;)

Dang, I think I may owe you money.

Ok, is there anyone out there who's Chinese, over 26 years old, married, and wants to give out money on this special day? You don't even need to put it in a red pocket. Honestly, even a blue one will do. How about green?! Brown? Hell, you don't even need the little pocket thing. Just slip it into an envelope and under my door.

Akemashite Omedetto Gozaimasu. :p

oh, year of pigs. congrats

Just one pig/boar and this year, it's golden, which supposedly happens only every (opinions differ) 60 or 600 years.

Gong xi fa cai.

Hope someone enjoys their ang pao.

Someone left me the attached graphic. I thought I'd share.
