Hello all.

I have been on a project to rip all of the kids' movies to my mac mini's external HDD so that the dvds can be put away and no longer be trashed. I have been using Handbrake with the h.264 ac3 .avi encoding.

What I have noticed about this particular movie is that there are bars at the top and bottom of the screen although the movie is in full screen format. The picture options i chose what the "aspect ratio option".

Has anyone else experienced this? or do I have something jacked up? :D

Thanks.

You can always check in the "Picture settings..." area to preview what you're going to get before you rip. You can also set the aspect ratio in there.
