Hi all,

Had a weird haptic issue this evening with my Series 4. They’re sending a replacement but I am curious if this is common or had come up before.

I’ve used the Series 4 for two days with prominent haptic enabled. Trying default, the sample haptic when I switched demonstrably and audibly clicked. It sounded like my iPhone keyboard with the sound effect on. Prominent was normal.

Apple had me unpair and repair. That seemed to break it further. When using the app to change the haptic settings, alert volume only clicked, and default and prominent did interchangeably. Express replacement was set up, and I tried a third repair and unpair. Alert volume still clicks, and only clicks on default, but here’s the weird part. It only occurs in the settings menus on watch and app sampling the settings. In real world use, the haptics and alerts work fine.

Has anyone else had this come up? I was curious if it was a software issue but they seemed insistent it needed to be swapped out.
